E noi l’abbiamo trovato.
Rome needs no introduction. It is the Eternal City, which surprises every time, even when you think you already know it. But this time for us it was different: not just a romantic weekend, but the first stay in Rome with our baby. And we wanted it to be beautiful, comfortable and easy.
Thus, our weekend at Numa Rome Barberini was born: a choice that allowed us to experience the Capital slowly, comfortably and with wonder, without giving up anything.
You can walk through the streets of Rome with baby stroller, admire the Trevi Fountain without running, enjoy a gelato in Piazza di Spagna and then go back to your room for an afternoon nap.
All you need is the right starting point. And we found it.

🏨 Numa Rome Barberini: when accommodation really makes the difference
Those who travel often know it: the quality of the stay does not depend only on the beauty of a room, but on a set of details that make the difference, especially with a small child.
At Numa Rome Barberini we immediately felt at home: no reception to deal with luggage and baby in your arms, no waiting. Everything works with a very convenient digital check-in, access with code and smart management of the entire stay.
The room? Large, clean, modern. Minimal but warm, parquet on the floor, a large window overlooking the Roman roofs and a cot ready next to the bed. A small gesture that made us feel immediately welcomed.
There is also a relaxation area with a coffee machine and fridge, very convenient for those with children who need extra space to prepare baby food, snacks or simply have a little autonomy.

A location worth its weight in gold: Rome on foot, stress-free at Numa Rome Barberini
The real surprise was the location.
The Numa Rome Barberini is located in a quiet street, but really central: from there in a few minutes on foot you can reach all the main places of the city.
•Trevi Fountain: 10 minutes walk, perfect even with a stroller
•Piazza di Spagna: 12 minutes, passing by boutiques, gelato shops and postcard views
•Via del Corso: practically around the corner, for those who love a bit of shopping
•Villa Borghese: 6 minutes, ideal for a break in nature with the kids
Every time we left the hotel, we had the feeling of having Rome at our feet. And when our little girl needed to rest, we just had to go back for a break. No stress. No rush. Everything within reach.
The strategic location allowed us to perfectly alternate moments as curious travelers with those as parents: a quick visit, a milkshake, a break in the room to let Gioia rest, then out again.
❤️ A weekend for two… and for three
This stay was a sweet confirmation: traveling with your family doesn’t mean giving up pleasure, on the contrary. With the right choice, you can have it all: the romance of a couple’s getaway, the comfort of a family stay, and the privilege of experiencing Rome without complications.
It’s not always easy to find a balance between the desire to discover and the pace of a 15-month-old baby. But in Rome we succeeded.
The Numa Rome Barberini gave us an elegant, smart and strategic base, which made us feel at home in the heart of the most beautiful city in the world.
What we loved most was rediscovering the pleasure of traveling even in simple moments: moments of sweet idleness, all 3 of us on the bed; a sunset from the window; an evening walk with the lights of Rome accompanying us.
Traveling with a baby doesn’t mean giving up romance or discovery. It just means adapting the time, choosing well and experiencing everything with new eyes.
