Amtshof Hotel: un boutique hotel sulle rive del lago di Costanza

Avete presente i villaggi delle favole? Quei paesini piccoli piccoli dove tutto è perfetto, quasi finto e sono tutti estremamente gentili?
Ecco, io l’ho trovato!

A più di mille chilometri di distanza da casa mia, sul lago di Costanza sorge Langenargen, un comune tedesco con poco più di 7000 abitanti.
É uno di quei luoghi dove si vive quasi esclusivamente di turismo e gli italiani che vi fanno visita si potrebbero contare davvero sulle dita di una mano.
Ma una cosa è certa, sanno cosa vogliano dire cortesia, accoglienza, gentilezza. 

Dopo un viaggio durato quasi un’eternità a causa di un incidente sull’autostrada tedesca, siamo giunte in questo piccolo paradiso all’incirca verso le 6 di pomeriggio del 3 maggio.
Il paese, come vi dicevo è davvero piccolo, quindi tutto è raggiungibile a piedi.
Dalla stazione al nostro albergo la strada è breve e in pochi minuti abbiamo raggiunto la nostra meta finale: l’hotel boutique SEEHOTEL AMTSHOF a conduzione familiare.
Questo edificio storico del 1590 accoglie i propri ospiti in camere doppie e suite uniche che uniscono il lusso alla tranquillità e intimità!

Do you know the fairytale villages? Those ones where everything is perfect, almost fake and everyone is extremely kind?
Well, I found it!

More than a thousand kilometers away from my house, on Lake Constance there is Langenargen, a German town with just over 7000 inhabitants.
It is one of those places where people live almost exclusively by tourism and Italians who come here could really count on the fingers of one hand.
But one thing is certain, they know what courtesy, hospitality, kindness are.

After a trip lasted almost an eternity because of an accident on the German highway, we arrived in this little paradise at about 6 pm on May 3rd.
The village, as I told you, is really small, so everything is within walking distance.
From the station to our hotel the road is short and in a few minutes we have reached our final destination: the family-run SEEHOTEL AMTSHOF boutique hotel.
This historic building from 1590 welcomes its guests in unique double rooms and suites that combine luxury with tranquility and intimacy!

Qui, il concetto di costruzione e la filosofia dell’arredamento si basano su un orientamento ecologico attraverso l’utilizzo di materiali naturali di alta qualità.
Il design degli interni di questa casa storica è davvero unico e non convenzionale; adatto alle persone che amano lo straordinario e l’esclusivo!

Al nostro arrivo, il proprietario Stefan ci ha accolte facendoci subito sentire a casa; ci ha poi condotte nella nostra favolosa Panorama suite da 58 m².
Questa suite è la più grande di tutta la struttura e si sviluppa su 3 piani; vanta una vista strepitosa sia sul lago che sulle montagne. Dispone di un ampio soggiorno con poltrone, led tv, zona pranzo con tavolo e sedie e di un piccolo angolo cottura attrezzato con tutto l’occorrente. Al piano terra della suite è, inoltre, presente un piccolo bagno. Salendo la bellissima scalinata di design, si passa al primo piano, cioè quello della camera da letto super ampia e luminosa. Da qui, tramite un’altra scala, questa volta di legno, si può raggiungere l’ultimo piano con tetti spioventi dove si trova la chicca di tutta la suite e cioè un bagno privato con vasca idromassaggio in legno con vista sul lago e servizio igienico aggiuntivo.

Upon our arrival, the owner Stefan welcomed us making us immediately feel at home; then he led us to our fabulous 58 m² Panorama suite.
This three-story suite is the largest of the entire building and has an amazing view of both the lake and the mountains. It has a large living room with armchairs, LED TV, dining area with table and chairs and a small kitchenette equipped with everything you need. On the ground floor of the suite there is also a small bathroom. Going up the beautiful design staircase, you go to the first floor, that is the bedroom, super wide and bright. From here, through an wooden staircase, you can reach the top floor with sloping roofs where is the gem of the whole suite: a private bathroom with a wooden spa bathtub overlooking the lake and an additional toilet.

Giusto il tempo di disfare le valigie che ci siamo subito preparate per andare a cenare fuori in uno dei ristorantini di Langenargen.
Dopo cena però, a causa della stanchezza siamo riuscite a fare solo una piccola passeggiata; dopodiché siamo tornate in albergo per riposarci e accumulare energie per il giorno dopo.

Just enough time to unpack the suitcases that we immediately dressed in order to go out for dinner in one of the restaurants in Langenargen.
After dinner, however, because of tiredness we could do just a little walk; after that we came back to the hotel to rest for the next day.

Venerdì mattina, i proprietari cordialissimi ci hanno portato in camera una colazione davvero super abbondante: piatti e piatti di frutta, cappuccino, cornetti, confetture di ogni tipo, uova fritte e bacon, yogurt e cereali. Una goduria per gli occhi e per il palato. Non potevo non condividere con voi tutta quella meraviglia!

On Friday morning, the very cordial owners brought us a truly super-abundant breakfast: a lot of fresh fruit dishes, cups of cappuccino, croissants, any type of jams, fried eggs and bacon, yogurt and cereals. A pleasure for the eyes and for the palate. I could not not share all that wonder with you!

Dopo un lungo shooting nella suite, abbiamo esplorato l’albergo e il cortile continuando a scattare numerose foto.
Pranzetto veloce e via, a passeggiare sul lungolago in compagnia dei cigni e dei germani reali che popolano il lago di Costanza.

Questo paese è davvero una bomboniera! A pochi passi dall’albergo, c’è un porticciolo per l’attracco di piccole imbarcazioni e del traghetto che conduce verso altri paesi che sorgono sul lago.
Poco più distante, lo Schloss Montfort, cioè il castello simbolo di Langenargen, costruito nel 1866 in stile moresco e situato su una piccola penisola nel lago; nonostante la mia terribile paura per l’altezza, vale davvero la pena salire sulla torre per ammirare il paesaggio, si può infatti vedere gran parte del lago, le Alpi svizzere e l’entroterra. Spettacolari sono anche le viste sul centro storico di Langenargen e sul porto delle barche.

After a long photo shooting in our suite, we explored the hotel and its courtyard, continuing to take numerous pictures.
Quick lunch and go, for a walk along the lake in the company of swans and mallards that live in Lake Constance.

A short distance from the hotel, there is a small port for mooring small boats and the ferry that leads people to other towns that rise on the lake.
A little further afield there is the Schloss Montfort, the symbolic castle of Langenargen, built in 1866 in Moorish style and situated on a small peninsula on the lake; despite of my terrible fear of height, it is really worth climbing up the tower to admire the landscape, you can in fact see most of the lake, the Swiss Alps and the hinterland. Spectacular views of the historic town of Langenargen and the boat harbor are also spectacular.

Una volta tornate in albergo, ho deciso di provare la vasca idromassaggio di legno per rilassarmi un po’ e godere del bellissimo panorama dalla finestra del terzo piano della suite.

Once back to the hotel, I decided to try the wooden spa bathtub to relax a bit and enjoy the beautiful view from the third floor window of the suite.

La mattina seguente, complice una bellissima giornata di sole, abbiamo potuto fare colazione nel cortile dell’albergo servendoci al banco del buffet.
I proprietari, come sempre super gentili, ci hanno fatto trovare ancora tantissima frutta fresca appena tagliata.

The following morning, thanks to a beautiful sunny day, we were able to have breakfast in the courtyard of the hotel by serving us at the buffet counter.
The owners, as always super friendly, have made us find a lot of fresh fruit.

Dopo aver scattato altre foto, abbiamo deciso di passare la giornata ad esplorare ancora un po’ il paese e ci siamo dirette dalla parte opposta del castello, quella dove si estende un grande porto di barche a vela, vuoto per metà poichè quella mattina si è svolta una famosa regata che abbiamo potuto ammirare dalle rive del lago di Costanza.

After taking other pictures, we decided to spend the day exploring Langenargen a little more and we headed to the opposite side of the castle, the one where there is a large port of sailboats.

Nel weekend, il paese si popola di famiglie con bambini e ragazzi provenienti dai numerosi paesi vicini; gente che fa picnic sul prato vicino al lago, che porta a spasso i propri cani, che fa jogging e che prende il sole.
É ancora più bello godersi Langenargen quando prende vita!

Dopo aver pranzato nella nostra stupenda suite e aver lavorato un po’ nella pace del giardino dell’Amtshof, abbiamo trascorso le ultime ore del nostro soggiorno, sulla spiaggia acciottolata del lago, rilassandoci e ammirando un panorama mozzafiato.

Over the weekend, the town is populated by families with children and teenagers from many neighboring cities; people picnicking on the lawn near the lake, others take their dogs for a walk and others run and sunbathe.
It is even nicer to enjoy Langenargen when it comes to life!

After having lunch in our beautiful suite and having worked a bit in the peace of the Amtshof garden, we spent the last hours of our stay, on the cobbled beach of the lake, relaxing and admiring a breathtaking view.

 

Il giorno dopo la sveglia è suonata all’alba. Purtroppo il nostro soggiorno finisce qui ma sono convinta che questo non sia un addio ma solo un arrivederci.
Tornerò a Langenargen ed alloggerò nuovamente all’Amtshof, dove la gentilezza e la cortesia sono di casa.

The day after the alarm clock rang at dawn. Unfortunately our stay ends here but I am convinced that this is not a goodbye.
I will come back to Langenargen and I’ll stay at the Amtshof Hotel again, where kindness and courtesy are at home.
