Today you come with me in my last trip abroad before this nasty virus deprived us of our freedom.
A week before the lockdown began in Italy, I reached one of my annual fixed stops: my beloved Paris.

For the Paris Fashion Week of February, unfortunately for now the last one with doors open,
I got on what would have been the last flight before the pandemic.

The tragic situation that would arise in our Country and beyond was already evident in the air.

Was I incautious?
Probably yes, but in that moment we still weren’t fully aware of what was beginning.

Leaving aside this great little detail, we spent 4 wonderful days in the Ville Lumière
surrounded by the magical atmosphere that only Paris can make you breathe.

Upon our arrival, the fantastic and highly trained staff of the 25hours Hotel Terminus Nord welcomed us.

I have to tell you the truth, at the beginning we were a little hesitant about the area where the building is located; you know, near a train station there are always people who are not recommended.
Instead this time we had to totally change our mind!

Located on rue de Dunkerque, in the 10th arrondissement, the 25hours Hotel Terminus Nord is located exactly in front of the main entrance of the Gare Du Nord, one of the six largest stations in Paris and a crossroads for commuters, students, tourists at all hours of the day and night.

The hotel is optimally connected to the main Parisian attractions which can be reached in very short time thanks to the Metro stop “Gare Du Nord”, located just outside the majestic glass entrance doors of the 25hours Hotel Terminus Nord.
Perfect to allow us to reach without too many problems – delays of the public transports permitting – events, fashion shows and presentations.

Once through the immense glass doors of the entrance,
you are catapulted into a very particular atmosphere where nothing is left to chance.
Everything is colorful and positioned as if you were in an African bazaar: a cosmopolitan mix of cultures and an urban refuge for tourists. The reception on the ground floor is reminiscent of a French kiosk!

A refuge away from chaos

The 25hours Hotel Paris Terminus Nord is a true declaration of love for the vibrant spirit of this neighborhood and its inhabitants, who have inspired all the furnishings of the hotel. Behind this interior design jewel, there has been a long and intense work to be able to best represent the hustle and bustle of the X arrondissement: a playful mix of vibrant and colorful street-art style murals.

The bedrooms have been designed to recreate a relaxing refuge away from urban chaos,
characterized by splendid combinations of colors and shapes inspired by Africa and Asia.

The rhythms you have to get used to during the most fashionable days of the year are super frenetic and there was nothing more relaxing than spending the few short breaks in our Medium Plus suite.
The decor of the room, like that of the whole hotel, is super colorful, a feeling of joy invades you as soon as you enter the door! The double balcony overlooking the historic Gare Du Nord was the quid pluris which made our daily awakening more pleasant.
After a long day, the cozy double bed was all it took for a restful sleep.

Intercontinental breakfast

When we woke up, to start the day in the best way, full of energy to face the many events that awaited us, there was nothing better than a super abundant sweet and savory breakfast served in the Neni restaurant, a room decorated down to the smallest detail; the predominant color? My beloved old rose. From the typically French delicacies to the vast choice of continental food products, absolutely nothing was missing and our palate could only be delighted!

La mia “home away from home”

My home away from home

The restaurant with its Israeli-Mediterranean cuisine and the Sape Bar with its large counter
and leather armchairs are the beating heart of what has effectively become our “home-away-from-home”.

The purpose of 25hours? Bring the neighborhood to life in every corner of the hotel.
My friends, all I can do is tell you: you did it great!
